Reindalen Part I

Seventeen days spent walking, waiting, and watching reindeer accross a treeless landscape in the company of just two other people and two dogs for the Svalbard Reindeer Project. After weeks of looking at Svalbard reindeer through lenses as well as with my naked eye, picking up fresh poo samples, spotting plants grazed by individual reindeer and digging them out of the nearly ground, and listening to the curious clicking sound reindeer make while walking–the mind can’t help but expand.
